I am not going to bother striking out my post. I do not care if you think my post is harsh. I do not care if you feel I am talking about you and feel indignant/angry/sad. Whatever, you made me feel that way when you did the same so why should I bother?
I don't think its very fair for you (all) to feel so indifferent, so nonchalant during our emotional breakdown on Thursday. I am not even going to say who. Firstly, please get your facts right first before giving us that ATTITUDE. We certainly do NOT take things for granted. Yes, we know we are fortunate, we are lucky. We have talked about this so many times in our own batch gatherings. THANK YOU if you feel we are not appreciative enough. Is that better? Makes you happier? Yes? No?
Sometimes we may skip some practices. But let me emphasise this: WE do not skip practices because OH I HAVEN'T FINISHED MY HOMEWORK or OH I HAVE REMEDIAL! I skipped my Thursday math remedials so that I do not go late for dance which is very important since I am failing my math. I gave up my homework time to go for practices on Sunday. Yes, i know everyone is giving up their time and that we should not complain and stuff. YES! we do not forgot your commitment but it seems YOU are forgetting our commitment. Maybe its human nature to only think about ourselves and forget about others because it seems thats the case for everyone.
Then, I have this problem to solve: my parents. Sometimes, I feel like a sandwhich. The top slice of bread is my parents and the bottom slice is CCA and I am the tomato in between the two. I realise and I hope you realise, there can only be one TOP priority. You cannot have both. 鱼与熊掌不可兼得。If you try both you will only end up failing both. But the problem is, I do not know which one to choose. As a student, your top priority is of course your schoolwork and that is of course what your parents think. But I do admit CCA is also very important. I know it will stay with me for four years and it inculcates a passion for dance in me. Its not that I refuse to put CCA as top priority but do I have the energy? the power? the authority? the 'yes' from my parents? NO! You do not understand my parents. My dad has threatened that if I cannot spend enough time on my schoolwork, he is going to stop me from going to dance and cancelling my ballet. I wonder what he is going to do when I show him my report card which says I have failed all my exams? Maybe my parents are just different from yours which is why you don't seem to have this problem. Maybe you are older which means you are free to make your own decisions and bear your own consequences.
I guess ranting and ranting is not going to help anything. But I just want you to know that you have MISUNDERSTOOD US SERIOUSLY D: I don't need any sorrys but I just want you to stop despising us.
oh and great... my mom doesnt allow me to go sentosa at night. Even after much persuasion she refuses to budge. She is not scared I will get abducted but she is scared I will drown there. There has been many cases of people (who can swim) who have drowned there because sentosa is a lagoon and there are under currents which can push you far out into the deeper waters. There are no lifeguards or anyone who can save me (not even my mom). See! I told you my parents are different from yours. My parents love me more than yours do.

Ok, so I am in the library trying to do some research for my chinese SIA. I think it was a blessing in disguise when our teacher told us to hand in our "first draft" today. Thankfully, our teacher decided that our work was totally horrendous(due to last minute work) so she gave us back and extended our deadline. BUT, she also added that our first draft WILL be graded. HMPH D:
I realise reading through 6 books of 散文 by 史铁生,金庸,张爱玲 and 季羡林is quite fun really. They're great authors and their passages are really interesting and really random. They seem to be able to talk about anything under the sun. They're called authors for a reason i guess... You may think I'm being cheenanese by reading these stuff and even LIKING them. IM NOT, unfortunately, but I must admit I am quite inclined towards chinese more than ENGLISH! zzz... that reminds me, I have to go and annotate my mockingbird book D:
sianz... to save my batt, i shant post any longer. GRRR stupid library users and their noisy phones. maybe they should impose a rule or invent something to stop all those phones from beeping and singing funny songs. OH GREAT this reminds me of my IVP, i have to think of something to invent FAST! boohoo my mind is going through a nervous breakdown. I still have History SIA and math SIA.
Kill me, people. Violence works on my overflowing brain. :P

Innovation Programme Launch 2009
It happened yesterday at NTU's auditorium. The place is really quite nice indeed. Unfortunately, the talks weren't very interesting or captivating ;D saw a few familiar faces like Songshan, Hao Yang and Claire all from Dunman High. didn't see anyone from HCI although i was expecting somebody i knew to join IVP. haha! The professors who gave talks i guess didn't know their target audience since they were explaining about aero dynamics, visual cryptography and anime making to PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS.
YES. there were primary school kids who were being SUPER ENTHU when some speaker asked for volunteers. Haha! almost all of them were waving their hands and about to jump out of their seats whereas the SECONDARY SIDE were simply giving bored faces. The most hilarious part was the video about plagarism but i shant elaborate further.
House Hunting Trip
I shall talk a bit about my house viewing trip today. So we went to visit Symphony Heights, still in the Hume Park area. The place is very serene and very quiet. The house itself is rather big too! 1668 square feet is not bad, at least bigger than my current house. I think my parents are quite keen on it although we still wish to view other houses possibly in East Coast area too.

I read this article on straits times posting about the soccer boots ronaldo wears are on sale in Singapore. It costs $319 and its LIME GREEN. Elaine says u can get them at significantly cheaper price at queensway. DON'T WORRY IM NOT A LITTLE BIT INTERESTED AT ALL. like wth? who cares about ronaldo's boots? they claim to make you light like you are not wearing anything. Which makes me wonder: If you are seriously screwed at soccer, how the hell will you be able to kick properly even when you have supposedly good shoes?
I can predict I am not going to like the NYCD sec ones this year. In fact, almost everyone in our batch dislikes them. I think they need to learn some RESPECT, we are after all their SENIORS not their toy (or slaves as Elaine prefers). However angelic they can be infront of Laoshi, they are certainly NOT angelic infront of us. Perhaps they need some prep. talk like the ones we had from seniors of every batch. :D I am starting to miss last year's sec 4s. I miss their strictness and yet friendliness. I miss their pro-ness (if there is such a word). Best of all, they DO NOT disappoint laoshi and CERTAINLY does not make her cry at night.
Sianz... I have to announce that I dated my homework on Valentine's dayD: How exciting (not)is that! pathetic... Shant post further, I'm going to watch goong now (:
